Fumiya Hayakawa (早川史哉, Hayakawa, Fumiya, born 12 January 1994 in Niigata, Niigata) is a Japanese footballer who plays for Albirex Niigata.[1]

Career

Already being recruited from Albirex Niigata as a youngster, he then joined University of Tsukuba for four years. After signing a new contract with Niigata-side[2] and debuting in J1 League, he was diagnosed with leukemia.[3] Hayakawa stopped playing and began his fight against the disease.[4]
