G. Bennett (full name and dates of birth and death unknown) was an English cricketer. Bennett's batting style is unknown.

Bennett made a single first-class appearance for Sussex against Nottinghamshire at Trent Bridge in 1843, which was in benefit of William Clarke.[1] Nottinghamshire were dismissed for 326 in their first-innings, in response Sussex were dismissed for just 33 in their first-innings, with Bennett, who opened the batting, being dismissed for a duck by William Clarke. Following-on, Bennett came in at number three and was once again dismissed for a duck, this time by Sam Redgate. Sussex were dismissed for 262 in their second-innings, thanks to 92 from Charles Hammond and 95 from Charles Hawkins. This total was enough for Sussex to draw the match.[2]
