Ganarjiis Mukhuri (Georgian: განარჯიის მუხური;Also known as contracted form: ganmukhuri) is a village in the Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti region of western Georgia. It is situated near the border with Abkhazia (a breakaway region of Georgia) and the city of Zugdidi. In 2006,[citation needed] a patriot camp in Ganmukhuri was opened. On August 18, 2008, after the Russian-Georgian War, the village was occupied by Abkhazian separatists and Russian military forces. They burnt the patriot camp in Ganmukhuri. On September 9, 2008, Abkhaz separatists and the Russian military left Ganmukhuri. The village is currently controlled by the Georgian Police.
