Gary Smith is a former English lawn and indoor bowler, born on 13 October 1958.

Smith partnered Andy Thomson when they won the 1993 World Indoor Bowls Championship Pairs. He started playing at the age of 15 and played for the Blackheath and Greenwich bowls clubs and the Cyphers indoor club at Beckenham.[1]
Smith also won the EIBA Pairs in 1986, 1991 & 1994 and Fours in 1983, 1984, 1988, 1990, 1992 & 1993. In 1988 he experienced Singles success after winning the EIBA Singles and one year later captured the CIS Insurance UK singles title.
