Gazelle Peninsula seen from space

Gazelle Peninsula is a large peninsula in north-eastern New Britain, Papua New Guinea, at 4°36′S 152°00′E / 4.6°S 152°E / -4.6; 152. The peninsula was named by Georg Gustav Freiherr von Schleinitz after his ship SMS Gazelle. The Rabaul caldera is located on the tip of this peninsula.
