The Georgia State Panthers women's basketball team represents Georgia State University and competes in the Sun Belt Conference of NCAA Division I . The Panthers play at the GSU Sports Arena in Atlanta , Georgia , United States.
Coaches
The Georgia State Panthers women's basketball team is currently coached by former East Carolina coach Sharon Baldwin-Tener. In April, 2010, Georgia State President Mark Becker and Director of Athletics Cheryl Levick announced the hire of Baldwin-Tener as a perfect hire due to the university being in close proximity to where she grew up.[3]
