Ghorpuri is a gaon (village) situated in the Pune district, Maharashtra, India. British colonial bungalows can be found in Ghorpuri. In Ghorpuri the Defence land[clarification needed] is situated. The roads Victoria, Vishwamitra Marg, Alexandra Road and B.T.Kawde Road, are locally renowned. The schools include: St Joseph High School, Ghorpuri Village High School, Swami Vivekanand, Basant, Saraswati Vidyalaya and Shahid Bhagat Singh high school.

Shri Sai Seva Pratishthan in Ghorpuri is the most famous temple with Shrimant Dagduseth Halwai Ganapati being the most famous Ganesh Temple in Pune. In Ghorpuri there are two major railway gates, the first is in front of Sai Temple and the other one is near the Hanuman temple before the road to Bharat Forge[clarification needed] and B.T.Kawde. we also find sisodiyas here the most famous being kuwara bhanu pratap singh sisodiya

St. Mary's Church, Pune is located in Ghorpuri which is the oldest church in the Deccan region.[1]
