Megaphasma denticrus, the giant walkingstick, is a species of phasmid or stick insect in the family Diapheromeridae.[1][2][3][4] It is the largest insect in North America, growing up to 7 inches in length.

In the courtship of this species, the female is 2 cm and the male is 1 cm.
