Giuseppe Pinto is an Italian prelate born on 26 May 1952 at Noci, Italy. On 1 July 2017, Pope Francis appointed him as Apostolic Nuncio to Croatia.[1]

Apostolic Nuncio

On 4 December 2001, Pope John Paul II appointed him as Apostolic Delegate to Mauritania and Apostolic Nuncio to Senegal. On 5 February 2002, he was also appointed as Apostolic Nuncio to Cape Verde and Mali. After a month, he was appointed as Nuncio to Guinea-Bissau.

Pope Benedict XVI appointed him as Apostolic Nuncio to Chile on 6 December 2007. On 11 May 2011, he was appointed as Apostolic Nuncio to the Philippines replacing then Archbishop Fernando Filoni.

On 1 July 2017, Pope Francis appointed him as Apostolic Nuncio to Croatia.
