Gokoku Maru

Gokoku Maru was a Japanese 10,500-ton Hōkoku-Maru-class ocean liner. During World War II, she was torpedoed and sunk by the United States Navy submarinee USS Barb (SS-220) on 10 November 1944 in the Pacific Ocean off Koshiki Jima, Kyushu, Japan.[1][2][3]
