Gordon Roe

William Gordon Roe (5 January 1932 – 19 July 1999) was an English divine and the Suffragan Bishop of Huntingdon from 1980 until 1997.

Roe was born on 5 January 1932[1] and educated at Bournemouth School and Jesus College, Oxford. After a curacy at Bournemouth [2] he was Priest in charge of St Michael's, Abingdon[3] and then Vice Principal of St Chad's College, Durham. Following this he was Rural Dean of Durham until his elevation to the Episcopate. Roe died on 19 July 1999.[4]
