Gradski Stadium (Bulgarian: Градски стадион, translated as City Stadium) is a multi-purpose stadium in Ruse, Bulgaria. It is currently used mostly for football matches and concerts. It is the home ground of FC Dunav and FC Lokomotiv. The stadium has a capacity of 13,000 spectators, of which 2,000 places are for the away fans.^[1]

Renovations

2013

The stadium was renovated in early 2013, as navy-blue seats were put on the main seven sectors. In December, roof covers were added over the main stand.

2017

Following Dunav's promotion to Bulgarian First League in 2016, the stadium had to be renovated to meet the licensing criteria of the Bulgarian Football Union. Therefore a new drainage system was installed, as well as a new automatic watering system, the renovation also included replacing the old grass surface of the stadium with a new one and constructing floodlights.^[2] On the 24th of April, the Bulgarian Football Union licensed the stadium. Prior to the event, Dunav had been playing their home matches on Ludogorets Arena in Razgrad, Bulgaria.^[3]
