The Grammar School and Sixth Form Centre is a public grammar school located in the parish of St. Andrew's in Guernsey.

The school's motto is Qui veult peult (Norman French:'Those who want to, can')

The mixed gender school is for students aged 11–18 and entry requires passing of the Eleven Plus examination. It admits students from across the Bailiwick of Guernsey. However, students from other secondary schools in Guernsey who want to pursue A Levels or the IB Diploma Programme transfer to the school after GCSEs.

The Grammar School

The current school is the result of the amalgamation of the old Girls' and Boys' Intermediate Schools. The school was opened in 1985 and the current headteacher is Tina Watson, the former director of the Sixth Form Centre, who replaced Jeff Smith as headmaster in December 2010.

The school had one student who was awarded the Victoria Cross during World War I.

The Sixth Form Centre was opened in 2005. It was built to accommodate the rising number of students wishing to continue their education after GCSEs, studying for AS and A Levels. The school was awarded the Healthy Schools Standard in 2005.

Previous Headmasters

Jeff Smith came to The Grammar School and Sixth Form Centre after a job as "Representative of the British Education Department" in Indonesia.

Dennis Balls is now retired and still lives in Guernsey with his wife Vera, although they make frequent visits to their daughters in England and France.
