The Guiers Vif is a river of France which lies in Rhône-Alpes.[1] It is located in the Regional Natural Park of Chartreuse, on the border between the municipalities of Saint-Pierre-d'Entremont (Isère) and Saint-Pierre-d'Entremont (Savoie) , usually dehydrated in a northwesterly direction. The river forms to most of its route the border between the departments Isère and Savoie and ends after 17 km of the boundary between the municipalities of Entre-deux-Guiers and Les Echelles with a right tributary of the Guiers, which bears the name of Guiers Mort. Often the Guiers Vif is not considered a tributary, but as the main source of the Guiers.
