Gynecological surgery refers to surgery on the female reproductive system. Gynecological surgery is usually performed by gynecologists. It includes procedures for benign conditions, cancer, infertility, and incontinence.[1] Gynecological surgery may occasionally be performed for elective or cosmetic purposes.
