Halil Asani (Serbian Cyrillic: Халил Асани, born 27 March 1974) is a Serbian football player. The defender plays for FK Borac Novi Sad.

Club career

Halil Asani was born in Dragaš (SAP Kosovo, SR Serbia, SFR Yugoslavia) and played in his early career with RFK Novi Sad and ČSK Pivara Čelarevo.[1] In spring 2001 he signed with FK Vojvodina and played in the First League of FR Yugoslavia, then moved to ČSK Pivara Čelarevo in the 2002/03 season and played in Serbian League. In 2007, he moved to FK Proleter Novi Sad playing in the Serbian First League.[2]

At winter break of the 2012–13 season until summer 2014 he played with ŽSK Žabalj, and in summer 2014, at age of 40, he signed with FK Borac Novi Sad.[3]

His son, Elmir is also a footballer.[3] He has met his son in a game.[3]
