Hamastegh (also Hamasdegh, (Template:Lang-hy), born Hambardzum Gelenian (Template:Lang-hy, 1895, Kharpert, Western Armenia, Ottoman Empire - 1966, USA) was a poet and writer of the Armenian diaspora.

Biography

Hamastegh (Hambardzum Gelenian) was born and spent his childhood in the village of Perjench, near Kharpert. His teacher was the famous Tlgadintsi. He lived in Medford, Massachusetts, near Boston USA. His most famous works are "The Village", "Rain", "First Love", .and the "White Horseman" (Sbidag Tsiavoruh).
