Diamond Way Buddhism

Diamond Way Buddhism is an international association of Buddhist centers founded by Ole Nydahl, a Danish Lama, student of the 16th Gyalwa Karmapa.
Lineage
Diamond Way Buddhism follows the Karma Kagyu lineage of Tibetan Buddhism under the direction of Trinley Thaye Dorje, one of two claimants to the title of Karmapa. See Karmapa controversy.
Organization
The group claims 542 centers and groups in 52 countries (January 2007), mainly in Europe, Russia, South America, North America and Israel.
The organizational system is flat and grassroot-like. All work in connection with the centres and groups are unpaid a voluntarily and functions on the basis of friendship and idealism.
