Hannelore Elsner (born Hannelore Elstner on 26 July 1942 in Burghausen)[1] is a German actress. After finishing drama school she worked in theatres in Berlin and München. Later she starred in films and TV series such as Die Schwarzwaldklinik.[2] She is known for her role as the lead character Inspector Lea Sommer in the German detective series Die Kommissarin.[3]
