Haver can also refer to oats in parts of Northern England and Scotland.
Haver is also an alternative spelling of the name of the small village of Havar in the Maneh and Samalqan County of the Iranian province of North Khorasan, noteworthy for marking the easternmost extremity of the highly biodiverse Caspian Hyrcanian mixed forests which fringe the Caspian Sea. It is situated near the village of Jowzak.
