Haytham Tambal (born November 28, 1978 in Sudan) is a Sudanese football striker currently playing for Al-Merrikh.[1] He is the all-time Sudan national football team top scorer. In 2008 in the Sudanese league he scored 21 goals in 20 games[citation needed]. He used to play rivals al hilal and in 2006 he went to South African outfit Orlando Pirates but played only once. In 2007, he went to African Al-Merrikh and is still there.
