Helen Margaret Spanton - Portrait of a Lady

Helen Margaret Spanton (1877–1934) was a portrait painter who exhibited at the New English Art Club between 1910 and 1915.

Spantan was born at Bury St. Edmunds in 1877, the daughter of William Silas Spanton and his wife Sarah Pechey.[1]

Her work is held at Brighton and Hove Museums and Art Galleries and the Dulwich Picture Gallery.[2]

Spantan died 17 September 1934 in Blackheath London.[3]
