Helmut Adam (1 October 1916 – 1 December 1942) was a highly decorated Major in the Wehrmacht during World War II. He was a recipient of the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross, awarded by Nazi Germany to recognise extreme battlefield bravery or successful military leadership. Helmut Adam was killed on 1 December 1942. He was posthumously promoted to Major.
