From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
- Policies and guidelines define Wikipedia's fundamental principles. Guidelines say how to apply them or provide general consistency
- Content - Articles should be neutral and only contain information and opinions that already exist from a reliable source
- Conduct - Be bold, but don't be rude. In a disagreement, assume good faith and civilly talk things out on the talk pages until a consensus can be reached
You should now have enough idea of the spirit of the guidelines and policies to begin editing with some confidence! For more information check out Wikipedia:Policies and guidelines.
