Hexamitoptera lawinda is a moth of the Erebidae family. It is found in Indonesia (Nias, Sumatra),[2] Peninsular Malaysia and Borneo. The habitat consists of lowland dipterocarp forests.

The facies are similar to that of Hypopyra species, but is more silvery grey.[3]
