Highbury Preparatory School is a private school for boys located in Hillcrest, KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa.

History

Highbury was founded in 1903 by Sibella Douglas McMillan. It was named after Highbury House School in England, which was established by Sibella McMillan's father, the Rev Charles Duff, in 1865. The school is located on the outskirts of the suburb of Hillcrest, overlooking the Valley of a Thousand Hills.

Many of its school leavers go on to attend top private high schools, particularly, Hilton College, Kearsney College and Michaelhouse.

Highbury has a non-denominational Christian ethos.

A student population of about 550 boys attend Highbury on its 11 hectare estate.
