Hlubočany is a village and municipality (obec) in Vyškov District in the South Moravian Region of the Czech Republic.

The municipality covers an area of 8.05 square kilometres (3.11 sq mi), and has a population of 495 (as at 3 July 2006).

Hlubočany lies approximately 4 kilometres (2 mi) south of Vyškov, 28 km (17 mi) east of Brno, and 208 km (129 mi) south-east of Prague.
