Hoffman Peak (77°32′S 162°52′E / 77.533°S 162.867°E / -77.533; 162.867) is a peak rising to 1,550 metres (5,100 ft) north-northeast of Mount McLennan in the Asgard Range of Victoria Land, Antarctica. It was named by the New Zealand Geographic Board (1998) after J.H. (Jack) Hoffman, a drilling specialist who helped establish the New Zealand Scott Base and erect its various antennae.[1]
