"Homeboy, Sweet Homeboy" is the fifth episode of the television sitcom The Fresh Prince of Bel Air. It guest stars Don Cheadle as Will's friend Ice Tray.

Plot Summary
Will is homesick, so his Aunt Vivian proposes that he bring a friend to Bel-Air. Will chooses Ice Tray, an old friend from West Philadelphia. When Ice Tray arrives, he is greeted by Will by fake punches to the stomach. Ice Tray makes a good impression on Vivian and Ashley, but not Philip (since Will introduced him as "all of this...") and Carlton (who gets introduced as Daffy Duck's brother). Ice Tray tells them that he has been stuck in the tenth grade in three years, and that it's good to kick back for a while and let someone else do his work. But Philip tells him that "everybody in this house carries their own weight", to which Ice Tray responds with "Too Easy".

Later, Will and Ice Tray sits in the living room talking about old memories. When Will goes to the kitchen to get some cheese steaks, Hillary enters the living room. They say "Hi" to each other then they kiss. When Vivian comes in she sees them and gets very shocked, in contrary to Will who gets happy.

When Vivian tells Philip what she saw, Philip gets confused and wonders what Hillary sees in Ice Tray. When Ice Tray and Hillary goes to her bedroom, Philip follows. Down in the living room, Will thanks Vivian for inviting Ice Tray over and tells her that he is proud of her. When he and Ice Tray goes to the swimming pool, Hillary comes down and tells exactly the same thing as Will did. Vivian is enraged and tells Philip that Hillary wants Ice Tray to live in their pool house. Philip says that it was her idea to invite him, but Vivian wants Ice Tray to get out. Philip tells her that any hostility will only drive Hillary closer to Ice Tray, so he suggests that they embrace him and welcome him to the family. Vivian is doubtful, but Philip convinces her.

In the evening, Philip and Vivian takes all of them to a resturant. Philip and Vivian laughs at Ice Tray's jokes and are very nice to him, making Carlton think they are drunk. When Hillary asks if her parents mind if she and Ice Try get married, they laugh and tells her they don't mind. Ice Tray then tells them that he and Hillary got married the same afternoon. Philip and Vivian gets very upset and tells Hillary she has ruined her life. But they calm down when Ice Tray tells them that he was joking. But Will is angry at Philip and Vivian for what they said.

At home, Will sits sadly in the living room. Vivian comes in and talks to him about how nice it was to have Ice Tray invited. But Will doesn't believe her since she and Philip told Hillary that she ruined her life after Ice Tray's joke. Will didn't like it all, but Vivian tells him about Ice Tray's lifestyle and that Will shouldn't be as him. Will is still angry, but he knows that Vivian is right. When it's time for Ice Tray to leave, he thanks everybody and even gives back a chinese cat he stole because they were so nice to him. It ends with Hillary who is sad that Ice Tray has to leave, but laughs when he suggests they can go to Philadelphia in a coach despite her snobbish nature.

Trivia
* This was the fourth episode to be produced, but the fifth to be broadcasted.

* Vivian's credit is "Janet Hubert" for this episode although it uses the shorter opening. This occurrence is fairly rare.
