Homer Thomas Thompson (June 1, 1891 to September 12, 1957) was a Major League Baseball catcher. Thompson played for the New York Yankees in the 1912 season. In one game, he did not get an at-bat, playing catcher.

He batted and threw right-handed. He was born in Spring City, Tennessee and died in Atlanta, Georgia.

Thompson attended the University of Georgia.

He was the brother of another former Highlander, Tommy Thompson.
