Hualcán[2][3][4] (possibly from Quechua wallqa, walqa,[5][6] -n a suffix) is a mountain in the Cordillera Blanca in the Andes of Peru, about 6,122 metres (20,085 ft) high.[2][3] It is located in Ancash, between Chacas (in Asunción Province) and Carhuaz (Carhuaz Province) districts.[7] Hualcán lies south-east of Chequiaraju.
