Hutch Dano (born May 21, 1992) is an American actor, writer, producer, musician, and artist. He is currently best known for his roles as Zeke Falcone in Zeke & Luther, and Sam in Zombeavers.
Personal life
Hutchings Royal Dano was born in Santa Monica, California. Coming from a bloodline of actors before him—including his father Rick Dano and grandfather Royal Dano, a character actor with over 300 credits to his name,--Hutch's destiny was set before him. His great-grandmother Virginia Bruce was also an actress in the 1930s and 1940s and great-grandfather J. Walter Ruben, was a writer and director.
Professional life
Hutch was cast his first commercial at the age of 5, when his mother and father, also actors, took him their commercial audition. Loving the stage, and his passion for acting intensifying, Hutch began doing summer theater for four years before being discovered by casting director Orly Sitowitz at the age of 15. He was then referred to a top agent and management company, which saw great potential and a very promising career in the young Dano. He started taking acting classes with Gary Marks and also with Jorge Luis Pallo at the Scott Sedita Studios to hone his natural innate abilities.
Within nine months, Hutch Dano booked the lead role of Zeke in the pilot Zeke and Luther(2009) for Disney's XD Channel, which was quickly picked up as a series. After wrapping his first season, Hutch booked the role of Henry, starring opposite Selena Gomez in the 20th Century Fox feature Ramona and Beezus (2010), playing Beatrice "Beezus" Quimby's friend Henry Huggins. Hutch also guest-starred on Disney Channel's The Suite Life on Deck (2008).
Hutch has guest starred on the hit shows Law and Order: LA, and White Collar as well as select movies roles. His most recently released film role was as "Sam", the cheating boyfriend who gets his just reward in last years horror comedy release Zombeavers. Behind the Walls, a horror movie is currently in post production. Sunflower , which Hutch co wrote and co produced is also in post production at this time.

Artwork
In late 2015, inspired by his boyfriend and producing partner Matt Shapira, Hutch began painting abstract artwork. As his technique developed, he began to post his artwork on social media and its popularity grew. Hutch now has paintings on display in various parts of the US, Canada and the Uk. Hutch has an uncanny ability of capturing raw emotion in his pieces. His preference for bright colors and layering of colors gives his abstract expressionist works a life of their own. Using acrylic paint, canvas, wood, and a variety of expressive techniques, Hutch creates unique, one of a kind pieces that add richness to any wall they grace.
Music
Hutch is also a big fan of Hip hop and rap music. He has released a few rap songs, as well a few collaborations with other independent artists.
