Hybrias of Crete (Greek: Ὑβρίας), a lyric poet, was the author of a highly esteemed skolion (drinking song), which is preserved by Athenaeus (xv. pp. 695—6), Eustathius of Thessalonica (ad Odyss. p. 276, 47), and Greek Anthology. It is called the spear-song.
