Hyde Park Village (The Village, formerly Old Hyde Park Village) is an urban, outdoor gathering place built in March 1985, located in the neighborhood of Hyde Park in Tampa, Florida, United States. People and shoppers can congregate in The Village, celebrate and enjoy everyday living South Tampa style and spans seven city blocks, encompasses over 260,000 square feet on 12 acres and is the most highly-recognized lifestyle center in Tampa Bay.

The center is situated in several buildings located between Swann and Rome Avenues, just a few blocks east of the SoHo district. Hyde Park Village is less than two miles from downtown Tampa, five blocks from the shores of Tampa Bay and within close proximity to the St. Pete Times Forum, the Straz Center for the Performing Arts, The Florida Aquarium, the vibrant downtown scene, hotels, and museums which make the Village a convenient locale for a mid-day lunch, pre-show drinks, or a late-night dinner.

The village consists of dining, and entertainment featuring a mix of national and regional retailers and restaurants in a prime, urban setting of South Tampa’s historic Hyde Park neighborhood. The Village consists of retail and office space and private residences surrounded by a park with brick walkways, and majestic oak trees all anchored by a signature fountain at the heart of the Village. Some of the top retailers include Anthropologie and Williams-Sonoma.[1] However, a majority of the tenants are high-end independent boutiques.[1] In addition to the shops, the district also features many restaurants which are among the best-reviewed in the city.[2][3] In October 2009 a Cobb Theatres "CineBistro" opened in the center, combining a movie theatre with upscale dining. [4] The theater shows new releases and hosts special events.

For more than 25 years, Hyde Park Village has attracted millions of visitors with its array of signature events in a beautiful setting brimming with rich artistic and cultural history. The Village’s extensive event programming appeals to working professionals, families, dog lovers and Hyde Park Village merchants alike. Regular events include the Fresh Market held the first Sunday of every month year round and boasts 70+ vendors selling local, handmade, fresh and agricultural-related products.[2] Fresh Market is pet-friendly.

The Village’s outdoor concert series, Live Music Series, takes place the last Wednesday of every month for the last 25 years. The Hyde Park Village Art Festival occurs every spring and fall for the last 23 years. The event features art from award-winning artist,[3] sculptors, jewelers, photographers, and ceramicists.[4]
