The Hyundai S engine is Hyundai's first V6 diesel engine. This engine has a displacement of 3.0l.

3.0 litre

This engine makes 237 hp (177 kW) at 3800 rpm and 333 lb⋅ft (451 N⋅m). of torque at 1700-3500 rpm. This engine is planned to make 20 mpg city, 30 mpg highway. This engine is supposed to pass the US Emissions Standards and was at one point considered as an offering for the Hyundai Veracruz.
