Ice War is a 1978 board wargame published by Metagaming Concepts.
Gameplay
Ice War is a game of arctic warfare which postulates a raid by the Eurasian Socialist Alliance on the oil fields within the larger context of a war between the USA and ESA.[1]
Reception
David Ritchie reviewed Ice War in Ares Magazine #1, rating it a 7 out of 9.[1] Ritchie commented that "There is heavy emphasis on limited intelligence and the effect of various weapons on the ice pack off the bay. Playable in 45 minutes or less. Simple, but fun."[1]
