"If You'd Only Believe" is a song written by Roxanne Seeman,[1] Billie Hughes,[2] and Jermaine Jackson. This song has also been called "If You Only Believe"[3] and "Only Believe".[4] It was recorded by The Jacksons for their 2300 Jackson Street[5] album, released in 1989 with Michael Omartian, producer,[6] The Jacksons, co-producer.[6] Recording sessions for "If You'd Only Believe" were held at Tito Jackson's home recording studio.

Televised live performances

The trio of Jermaine, Tito and Jackie performed the track along with "Art Of Madness" and Nothin' (That Compares 2 U) on a Spanish television program named Sabado Noche in 1989. "If You'd Only Believe" is the theme song and finale of "The Jackson Family Honors",[7] TV special, which took place at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, February 1994. The song was sung by The Jackson Family, including a standout performance by Michael Jackson[7] and standouts by celebrity guest performers Celine Dion, Dionne Warwick, Gladys Knight, Smokey Robinson, Bruce Hornsby and others.[7] The program was broadcast on NBC three days after the taping.[8]
