"If You Should Ever Be Lonely" is 1986 single by, Motown artist, Val Young. The single peaked at number twenty-one on the U.S. R&B chart.[1] "If You Should Ever Be Lonely" was more successful on the dance chart, hitting number one for three weeks.[2]
