Independent Republican Party (United States)

The Independent Republican party was a United States political party that received one electoral vote in the 1820 Presidential election. Elector William Plumer of New Hampshire cast his vote for John Quincy Adams.

Had Plumer not done so, James Monroe would have been elected unanimously.
