Indragiri Hulu is a regency (kabupaten) of Riau, Indonesia. It is located on the island of Sumatra. The regency has an area of 7,723.8 km² and a population of 363,442 at the 2010 Census; the latest official estimate (as at January 2014) is 417,270.
The regency is divided into 8 districts (kecamatan). The seat of the regency is located at Rengat.
