Infobae is a news website that was created in Argentina in 2002 by businessman Daniel Hadad. Originally, it was the online edition of the daily Buenos Aires Económico (BAE) that Hadad had acquired in 2000.[1] In April 2007, the print edition of BAE was sold again to businessman Sergio Szpolski.[1]
