Inha University in Tashkent or IUT (Toshkent Shahridagi Inha Universiteti in Uzbek) is an English speaking university located in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, where teaching essentially focused on IT and communication engineering.

Introduction

Inha University in Tashkent has been established according to the resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan [5][6][7] as a result of the cooperation between Inha University of Korea and the government of Uzbekistan with the goal of developing professional, practical, and globally competitive IT leaders. Inha University in Korea is a distinctive leader in higher education for engineering, IT, management, logistics, and Korean studies, among others. The curriculum and academic program for Inha University in Tashkent is similar to that of Inha University in Korea.[8]

The campus is based in Tashkent city. There is one main building which consists of 7 floors. There are 2 more buildings which are under construction.

The Information Resource Center

Information Resource Center[9]

Information Resource Centre is the central part of Inha University in Tashkent (IUT), which has been established to support the intellectual needs of the students and University members. The Information Resource Centre equipped with the latest Computers support Microsoft Office Professional (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Internet Explorer to access the Internet and e-mail, and software required to support the curriculum. Books, theses, reports, journals, magazines, reference works and non-print materials are included in the holdings of Information Resource Centre. With the help of ID Cards, students also can use the printing, scanning and photocopying services. All resources are available in an open-access environment with instructions to shelf-guide. Security gates are installed for the security purpose of library collection. Information Resource Centre located in the 1st floor, room 103

PC LABS

PC lab

There are three main PC labs which are available for use by IUT students and staff members. Total number of PC is 150. All the PCs have an access to high-speed Internet so the students can do researches correlated to their studies. Visual Studio Professional 13 is installed in all PCs which allows to write C++ programs to learn fundamentals of OOP (Object Oriented Programming). All classes are carried in English by using Deitel Developer series book C++ for programmers.

These labs are considered for the study and work related tasks. The labs have exact usage schedule for teaching purposes and you may be requested to vacate a lab to allow the professors to commence the lessons. Lesson schedule can be found next to Lab doors and the schedule can be changed within a short time. The main objective of PC lab is to learn fundamental concepts of object-oriented programming and to practice them with C++.

Physics Lab

Physics Lab

The main objective of Physics Lab to understand the basics of classical mechanics and thermal/statistical physics. Based on Newton's law, we will understand the motion of matter for various situations such as translation/rotation. Additionally, we will learn the basics of fluid, wave, and heat. harmonic oscillator, wave/sound, heat/temperature, entropy etc.

Data Center

Data center lies at the foundation of Inha University in Tashkent IT infrastructure and enables university staff and students access university data and information services.

Samsung School

Inha University in Tashkent cooperated with Samsung to build a special tuition class using latest technology assets.

Smart Class

Smart Class at IUT

Smart Class includes application location, curriculum planning, learning management systems and mapping question banks on the Samsung GALAXY Tab.

Also presented at IUT are the multi-display videowall solution and the Interactive e-Board that are designed to revolutionize the classroom experience for students and teachers alike.[10]

In 2014/2015 academic year, IUT provided an assistance for 13 students from low income families in finding sponsor companies, to cover tuition fee for all 4 years of study.[12]

IUT offer excellent programs with strong practical and theor According to the statistics for the past five years, the graduates of Inha University Korea have shown their talent at large corporations (Samsung, LG Electronics, Hyundai, Samsung SDS, LG CNS, MBN, Sambo Computers, Lotte Information and Communications) as well as government agency, financial institutions, research laboratories, schools, and startup companies.[12]
