The Institute of Public Opinion (also known as the Muhlenberg College Institute of Public Opinion or the Polling Institute) is a national public opinion poll at Muhlenberg College in Allentown, Pennsylvania.[1] The Institute is directed by Dr. Christopher P. Borick, and provides polling and research to local towns, school districts, and academic institutions, as well as national media such as the Los Angeles Times, PBS, and the Wall Street Journal. [2]

According to the Institute's mission statement, its purpose is to conduct "scientific based survey research projects of public policy and political issues throughout the Lehigh Valley and Commonwealth of Pennsylvania." [1]
