Intelligent Computer Assisted Language Instruction (ICALI) involves the application of computing technologies such as Natural language processing (NLP), Knowledge representation (KP), Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR), Neural networks, and Intelligent tutoring systems to the teaching and learning of second or foreign languages.
