The International Imaging Industry Association (I3A) was created by a merger of the PIMA and the Digital Imaging Group in 2001. It is a common forum for the industrial imaging industry.

It supervises standards for photography and digital imaging, such as JPEG 2000 and PTP as well as the Internet Imaging Protocol.
