The International Imaging Industry Association (I3A) was created by a merger of the PIMA and the Digital Imaging Group in 2001. It was a common forum for the industrial imaging industry.

It used to supervises standard for photography and digital imaging, such as JPEG 2000 and PTP as well as the Internet Imaging Protocol.

It disbanded in October 2013 [1]
