It Goes Without Saying is the debut, and only, studio album by the short-lived British band, the Dum Dums. It was released in the United Kingdom on 18 September 2000.

British magazine Select gave the album a rating of one out of five referring to the album as "Dreadful".[1] Select referred to the song "Army Of Two" as "truly hideous" and unfavourably comparing other songs to Elvis Costello ("Killing Me With Kindness" and Crowded House.[1]
