Ilson Amancio Carreiro Júnior (born July 26, 1991 in Belo Horizonte[1]), better known as simply Junior Carreiro, is a Brazilian footballer.

Career

On September 15, 2010, D.C. United officially announced the signing of Carreiro, after trialing with the club since March 2010. He was waived by D.C. United on June 29, 2011.[2]

Personal life

Carreiro is the younger brother of midfielder Fred, who also played for D.C. United from 2007 through 2009 and again in 2011,[3] as well as playing for Melbourne Heart of the A-League and currently rival MLS side Philadelphia Union. [4]
