Jānis "Magic" Jubalts (born 24 August 1974 in Jelgava, Latvia) is a Latvian musician and co-founding member of the pop rock band Prāta Vetra. He is the guitarist from the group since 1989. He was also a member of the rock band The Metals from 1990 until he left the group in 1992. The group became internationally popular in 2000 with their song "My Star" finished third at Eurovision 2000 and subsequent albums including Among the Suns (2000), Online (2001), A Day Before Tomorrow (2003) and Four Shores (2006).[3]

Personal life

Jānis "Magic" Jubalts is married to wife Dace Jubalte.
