Jakobe Mansztajn

Jakobe Mansztajn (born 1982 in Gdańsk) is an award-winning young Polish poet and blogger. Deputy editor of the literary quarterly Korespondencja z ojcem. Author of the poetry collection Vienna high life (2009) for which he has received many awards, including the prestigious 2010 Wroclaw Silesius Award in the Début of the Year category,[1] Sztorm Roku 2010 Award founded by Gazeta Wyborcza,[2] and has also been nominated for the Gdynia Literary Award.[3] His debut collection has been described as :"one of the most distinctive in the past years in Polish literature" and gained wide critical acclaim. Translated into hebrew, english,[4] belarusian, norwegian.
